Manual of uniform traffic control devices (MUTCD)

MUTCD Part 2 Supplement 4.6.6.4-1 "Speed limits on bridges" and Part 4 Supplement 3.7-1 "Speed limits at bridges" have been amended with information on:

• new speed limit sign TC2224 to communicate speed reduction
• use of target boards to increase conspicuity
• shortened length of reduced speed zone
• duplication of signs on both sides of two lane two way roads
• use of supplementary pavement maring to narrow the lane and influence the speed changes.

Amendments are also noted in the MUTCD Amendment Register published on the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices page.
